My latest series draws inspiration from photos taken out of my car window while driving through the Midwest landscape. These views seemed boring and monotonous at first, but over time they captured my attention with their simplicity and beauty. I enjoy seeing how these simplified landscapes bring back memories to all sorts of people. They tell different stories to everyone that sees them.
Gallery Wrapped Canvas, Wood, Paper, Acrylic, Ink, Watercolor
A collection of my smaller scale landscape paintings.
For this body of work I steered away from my classic horizontal stripes and shapes and instead played around with geometric shapes and angles in order to create abstracted landscapes. These images come from trips to Maine, Colorado, Missouri and more.

Cradled Wood Panels and Acrylic Paint
A collection of paintings focused on subtle color palettes and shadows through trees.
This series was inspired by the shadows that trees create during different times of day and seasons. I focused on a more subtle color palette this series as well.

A collection of paintings focused on rural America and the quintessential barn.
This series was inspired by my many driving trips through the Midwest. The simple color palette that the fields and sky create with the pop of color from buildings and barns really speaks to me.
